Quickstart
Otto is fastest to adopt as an AI code reviewer: create a workspace, connect your code host, open a pull request, and Otto posts a native review.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A GitHub or Azure DevOps organization with admin access
- An Otto account at fullotto.app
Step 1: Create a workspace
- Log in to fullotto.app
- Create your Otto workspace
- Otto grants a small welcome credit so your first reviews can run before payment setup
Step 2: Connect repositories
GitHub
- In onboarding, click Connect GitHub
- Install the Otto GitHub App
- Select the repositories Otto should access on GitHub's install screen
- Return to Otto — reviews are enabled automatically for granted repositories
Azure Repos
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Connect Azure Repos
- Choose which repositories Otto should review
You can later prune reviewed repositories in Settings → Integrations.
Step 3: Open a pull request
When a pull request opens in a connected repository, Otto automatically posts:
- A native PR review verdict: approved, commented, or changes requested
- Inline findings on changed lines
- An Otto Review check run for branch protection
- A Merge confidence: 1/5–5/5 score in the review summary
Step 4: Talk to Otto
Use PR comments to ask follow-up questions. Common commands include:
/otto re-review— ask Otto to review the current PR head again- Replies to Otto's inline comments — ask for explanation or clarification in context
Going further
Otto still includes the broader automation platform:
- Connect Linear or Jira
- Configure triggers and agents
- Let Otto plan and implement ticket-driven work
Start with reviews, then expand into automation when your workflow needs it.
